# Terms of Service

## 1\. Agreement to Terms

By contacting, requesting an estimate from, or engaging Newington Landscaping Pros for landscape services, you agree to these terms.

## 2\. Services

Newington Landscaping Pros provides residential and commercial landscaping services across Hartford County, Connecticut, including:

-   Lawn mowing and recurring maintenance
-   Lawn fertilization and weed control programs
-   Spring and fall property cleanups
-   Landscape design and installation
-   Hardscape projects (patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, lighting)
-   Snow plowing and ice management
-   Commercial grounds maintenance and HOA contracts

## 3\. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are free, written, and delivered within 24–48 hours of an on-site visit. The price quoted in the written estimate is the price you pay. We do not add day-of charges without your approval.

Recurring service pricing is quoted seasonally or annually for predictable budgeting. Per-storm snow plowing rates are confirmed in writing before the season begins.

## 4\. Payment Terms

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is due upon invoice unless other terms are agreed in writing. Commercial accounts may have net-30 or net-15 terms specified in the contract.

## 5\. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Recurring service visits may be paused or rescheduled with reasonable notice. Project work cancellations after materials have been ordered may incur restocking or material costs. Snow plowing seasonal contracts are non-refundable once the season begins.

## 6\. Warranty

We stand behind our work. If something installed by our crew fails due to workmanship within a reasonable timeframe, we will repair it at no cost. Plant material warranties depend on installation conditions and care — terms are specified in writing for each landscape installation.

## 7\. Property Access and Liability

You agree to provide reasonable access to your property for scheduled service. We carry Connecticut general liability and workers' compensation insurance on every crew. Certificate of insurance is available on request.

## 8\. Permits and Approvals

For hardscape projects requiring town permits (typically retaining walls over 4 feet and certain patio installations), we handle the permit process as part of the project. Permit fees may be separate line items in the estimate.

## 9\. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, photographs, design — is the property of Newington Landscaping Pros unless otherwise noted.

## 10\. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Connecticut law, Newington Landscaping Pros shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our liability is limited to the value of the services performed.

## 11\. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
